Tras su llegada al mercado en 2017, este gran turismo coreano demostr\u00f3 estar a la altura de las exigencias, quiz\u00e1 sin el refinamiento que llega con un logo premium, pero s\u00ed con un desempe\u00f1o dif\u00edcil de encontrar a ese precio. Hoy, con una liger\u00edsima actualizaci\u00f3n, el KIA Stinger 2022 nos propone una nueva opci\u00f3n de motor \u00abpeque\u00f1o\u00bb para su versi\u00f3n GT-Line. Lo tuvimos a prueba.<\/p>\n<p>La versi\u00f3n de entrada que conoc\u00edamos hasta ahora desaparece. El motor turbo de 2.0 litros del Stinger EX pasa a la historia para dejar como escal\u00f3n de acceso al nuevo motor turbo de 2.5 litros, como antesala del Stinger GT, que mantiene intacto su V6 turbo.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de entrar en detalles sobre su manejo, hagamos un repaso r\u00e1pido del redise\u00f1o. No hay mucho que decir. La actualizaci\u00f3n ha sido tan sutil, que tan solo peque\u00f1os retoques en faros y unas cuantas pinceladas en las calaveras resumen su facelift. Lo m\u00e1s relevante es que ahora hay una luz de LED de orilla a orilla en la trasera, que los rines estrenan dise\u00f1o y que es el primer modelo de la marca en portar el nuevo logo en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>El punto fuerte del interior est\u00e1 en el equipamiento<\/p>\n<p>Por dentro tampoco hubo una transformaci\u00f3n radical. De hecho, salvo por el acabado de algunas piezas y el nuevo logo de KIA en el centro del volante, el interior del Stinger 2022 luce id\u00e9ntico al del modelo anterior.<\/p>\n<p>En realidad no era necesario moverle demasiado. Entendido como un KIA, este veh\u00edculo tiene una selecci\u00f3n de materiales muy buena, con piezas gomosas y perillas de buen tacto. Es cierto que no alcanza el grado de refinamiento de un modelo premium, como un BMW Serie 4 Gran Coup\u00e9 o un Audi A5, pero mira bien el precio. El Stinger no es barato, pero s\u00ed mucho m\u00e1s accesible que sus \u00abequivalentes\u00bb premium. Su etiqueta se compensa con mucho equipamiento y una oferta de motor m\u00e1s interesante que la de un modelo premium a ese precio.<\/p>\n<p>De serie, el KIA Stinger GT-Line incluye columna de direcci\u00f3n con ajuste el\u00e9ctrico, quemacocos, asientos delanteros con funci\u00f3n de memoria, climatizaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de tres zonas, sistema de sonido de 9 bocinas, c\u00e1mara de visi\u00f3n de 360\u00ba, sensor de lluvia y un monitor de punto ciego que despliega una imagen en el cuadro de instrumentos al encender las direccionales.<\/p>\n<p>En realidad, lo \u00fanico que echo de menos \u2014y que me parece raro que no se actualizara\u2014 es un mejor sistema de infotenimiento. En tiempos donde un Rio tiene pantalla de 9&#8243; o Seltos y Forte llevan una de 10.25&#8243;, me parece raro que el Stinger conserve un sistema multimedia de tan solo 8&#8243;, tanto para esta versi\u00f3n, como para la m\u00e1s equipada. Eso s\u00ed, integra Android Auto y Apple CarPlay inal\u00e1mbrico.<\/p>\n<p>Una alternativa a un modelo premium<\/p>\n<p>Con esta ligera actualizaci\u00f3n, el KIA Stinger GT-Line se mantiene como una de las opciones m\u00e1s atractivas para quien busca un auto de dise\u00f1o distinguido, alto nivel de equipamiento y grato desempe\u00f1o, sin terminar sangrando demasiado la cartera.
