Con el cierre de la temporada 2021 del IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, la firma alemana ha desgranado los detalles de sus programas deportivos en la categor\u00eda. En primer t\u00e9rmino, el BMW M8 GTE -GTLM en IMSA- se jubila con todos los honores para dar paso al nuevo BMW M4 GT3. Este veh\u00edculo ser\u00e1 el protagonista del programa en la categor\u00eda GTD Pro del IMSA de la marca junto al Team RLL. Y este v\u00ednculo con la estructura creada por Bobby Rahal, David Letterman y Michael Lanigan ser\u00e1 clave tambi\u00e9n en el proyecto LMDh.<\/p>\n<p>De esta forma, BMW y el Team RLL competir\u00e1n juntos en GTD Pro en 2022, pero tambi\u00e9n lo har\u00e1n en la nueva categor\u00eda LMDh en 2023. El Team RLL ser\u00e1 el encargado de gestionar el prototipo dise\u00f1ado por Dallara junto a la firma de M\u00fanich. Bobby Rahal ha explicado que se trata de un aut\u00e9ntico sue\u00f1o tener la oportunidad de hacer debutar al BMW M4 GT3 en IMSA y luego dar el siguiente paso junto a la firma alemana para competir por las victorias absolutas de la serie con el LMDh de BMW. Un prototipo del que ya tenemos el primer boceto gracias al trabajo de BMW Motorsport y el departamento BMW M Design.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras el LMDh de BMW empieza a mostrar su &#8216;cara&#8217;, la firma alemana sigue sin hacer ni una sola referencia al WEC o a Le Mans y las palabras de Franciscus van Meel, CEO de BMW M, as\u00ed lo demuestran: \u00abAl igual que Dallara, en Bobby Rahal y su equipo tenemos una experiencia del todo sobresaliente y d\u00e9cadas de trabajo al m\u00e1s alto nivel a nuestro lado. El proyecto LMDh de BMW sigue cobrando impulso y conf\u00edo en que el a\u00f1o que viene daremos los pasos necesarios para estar lo mejor preparados posibles. Queremos tener una muy buena primera temporada en IMSA con nuestro prototipo LMDh.
