Y es que el llamado social commerce ha ganado una participaci\u00f3n de doble d\u00edgito en las ventas por internet, pero no logra conquistar a los usuarios del pa\u00eds, quienes siguen prefiriendo al ecommerce tradicional.<\/p>\n<p>Un 41% de los mexicanos prefiere hacer sus compras por los canales de ecommerce y no por social commerce, mientras que en Brasil este porcentaje se ubica en un 57%, pa\u00eds sudamericano que s\u00f3lo en un 22% prefiere hacer este tipo de operaciones a trav\u00e9s de sus redes sociales, de acuerdo con una encuesta elaborada por la fintech israel\u00ed Rapyd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDesde el punto de vista de los pagos, el social commerce cuenta con la ventaja del camino recorrido por el ecommerce para generar confianza, diversidad y facilidad en las formas de pago, incluso al punto de innovar en formas de digitalizaci\u00f3n del efectivo, m\u00e9todo de pago m\u00e1s usado en M\u00e9xico, para comprar en l\u00ednea. Este reto superado por el ecommerce explica una parte importante de la r\u00e1pida adopci\u00f3n y crecimiento del social commerce en M\u00e9xico\u201d, coment\u00f3 a Forbes M\u00e9xico Juan Huezo, director senior de Desarrollo Corporativo y Asociaciones de Rapyd.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de Argentina hubo un 37% de preferencia del ecommerce sobre un 7% de social commerce; en Colombia el ecommerce tiene una preferencia del 34% y el social commerce del 23%.<\/p>\n<p>En 2020 se contabilizar\u00f3n 84.1 millones de internautas en M\u00e9xico, lo que representa 72.0% de la poblaci\u00f3n de 6 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s. Durante 2020 y como consecuencia del confinamiento por la pandemia de Covid-19, los usuarios de internet tuvieron el mayor crecimiento observado en los \u00faltimos 5 a\u00f1os, de acuerdo con el 17\u00b0 Estudio sobre los H\u00e1bitos de los Usuarios de Internet en M\u00e9xico 2021.<\/p>\n<p>En M\u00e9xico, la mayor actividad en l\u00ednea es acceder a redes sociales, con 66.1% de la preferencia, de acuerdo con el reporte presentado por la Asociaci\u00f3n de Internet MX.<\/p>\n<p>Los pa\u00edses latinoamericanos tomados en cuenta en el estudio de Rapyd coincidieron en que en el caso de compras de bienes de alto valor o precio, es mejor hacerlo a trav\u00e9s del ecommerce tradicional (M\u00e9xico 69%, Brasil 68%, Colombia 62% y Argentina 55%,) antes que por redes sociales.<\/p>\n<p>El mayor n\u00famero de encuestados declararon estar dispuestos a gastar en compras por ecommerce en la regi\u00f3n fue de un promedio de 300 d\u00f3lares, en el caso Brasil y M\u00e9xico, y 500 d\u00f3lares en Colombia; para las compras por redes sociales, el monto m\u00e1ximo es de un promedio de 160 d\u00f3lares en Brasil, 150 d\u00f3lares en M\u00e9xico y 100 en Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Para los brasile\u00f1os (73%) y mexicanos (59%) la mayor ventaja de comprar por ecommerce es que resulta pr\u00e1ctico, sencillo y r\u00e1pido. Esto result\u00f3 la segunda ventaja para Colombia (52%) y Argentina (51%).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSin duda el futuro nos depara un ecosistema de comercio digital mucho m\u00e1s diverso.
