En a\u00f1os recientes la industria hotelera la ha utilizado para mejorar la experiencia de los hu\u00e9spedes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la realidad aumentada?<\/p>\n<p>Lo primero que hay que aclarar, es que la realidad aumentada, no es lo mismo que la realidad virtual. La realidad aumentada (AR) utiliza un entorno real para brindar m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n al usuario; es decir sit\u00faa objetos digitales (audio, video o texto) encima de objetos reales. En t\u00e9rminos entendibles, una persona puede utilizar su tel\u00e9fono celular, para obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre las cosas que lo rodean utilizando la c\u00e1mara de su dispositivo. El ejemplo m\u00e1s palpable es la aplicaci\u00f3n de Google Lens, que los smartphones tienen.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de marketing, la realidad aumentada crea una experiencia de cliente mejorada porque le permite interactuar con diferentes elementos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo impacta la realidad aumentada en el sector de hoteler\u00eda y turismo?<\/p>\n<p>La industria hotelera en M\u00e9xico y otras partes del mundo ha aplicado la realidad aumentada. En t\u00e9rminos de mercadotecnia, puede ser usada para diferentes fases del embudo de conversi\u00f3n. A continuaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n algunas muestras.<\/p>\n<p>En la fase de consideraci\u00f3n<\/p>\n<p>Una persona interesada en reservar un hotel, a trav\u00e9s de la realidad aumentada puede conocer las medidas de una habitaci\u00f3n, c\u00f3mo es la alberca y las instalaciones en general. Es decir, puede tener una experiencia inmersiva previa a ir al hotel. Esto genera una ventaja sobre las cl\u00e1sicas fotos est\u00e1ticas de sus competidores.<\/p>\n<p>Incluso ya hay algunos hoteles que a trav\u00e9s de realidad aumentada ofrecen colores personalizados para la ropa de cama. Tambi\u00e9n adaptan el contenido del minibar a los gustos de cada hu\u00e9sped. Con base en esas preferencias, el establecimiento puede aplicar cambios que le gusten a la mayor\u00eda de sus clientes. <\/p>\n<p>En la fase de venta<\/p>\n<p>Si el hu\u00e9sped ya est\u00e1 en el hotel, la realidad aumentada se manifiesta por ejemplo, al pasar la c\u00e1mara del celular y ver informaci\u00f3n acerca de la decoraci\u00f3n de la habitaci\u00f3n (art\u00edculos de arte o dise\u00f1o). Tambi\u00e9n puede obtener instrucciones sobre la tecnolog\u00eda como la pantalla de televisi\u00f3n, el aire acondicionado, tina de hidromasaje. O afuera del cuarto, acceder a un mapa de las instalaciones del hotel para ubicarse mejor. Adem\u00e1s de recibir descuentos y promociones personalizadas.<\/p>\n<p>Otra utilidad de la realidad aumentada es la traducci\u00f3n simult\u00e1nea. Basta dejar unos segundos fija la c\u00e1mara sobre un texto (en un envase, pared, cartel) y en la pantalla veremos en el idioma deseado las palabras traducidas. <\/p>\n<p>Todas las capacidades de la realidad aumentada podr\u00e1n estar en la palma de la mano de cada hu\u00e9sped, provocando que su experiencia con la industria tur\u00edstica sea diferente y \u00fanica. <\/p>\n<p>La realidad aumentada en M\u00e9xico sigue siendo cara para la mayor\u00eda de los negocios del sector hotelero. Sin embargo, como toda nueva tecnolog\u00eda, su costo ha ido disminuyendo paulatinamente. Y para obtener un retorno de inversi\u00f3n, cada empresa tur\u00edstica deber\u00e1 usar marketing digital para darla a conocer y que las personas se animen a vivir la
