Las acciones estadounidenses cerraron el primer trimestre con una baja el jueves y con su mayor ca\u00edda trimestral en dos a\u00f1os, debido a que persist\u00edan las preocupaciones sobre el conflicto b\u00e9lico en Ucrania y su efecto inflacionario en los precios y la respuesta de la Reserva Federal.<\/p>\n

Aunque el optimismo por un posible acuerdo de paz entre Ucrania y Rusia ayud\u00f3 a impulsar las acciones a inicios de semana, las esperanzas se evaporaron r\u00e1pidamente y el presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, amenaz\u00f3 el jueves con suspender contratos de gas a Europa a menos que se paguen en rublos, mientras Kiev se preparaba para m\u00e1s ataques.<\/p>\n

Estados Unidos impuso nuevas sanciones relacionadas con Rusia y el presidente estadounidense, Joe Biden, lanz\u00f3 la liberaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande jam\u00e1s realizada de la reserva de petr\u00f3leo de emergencia del pa\u00eds y desafi\u00f3 a las compa\u00f1\u00edas petroleras a perforar m\u00e1s en un intento por reducir los precios de la gasolina que se dispararon durante la guerra en Ucrania.<\/p>\n
