Tal y como sucedi\u00f3 hace d\u00e9cadas, pero para llevar a cabo las tareas necesarias, los astronautas necesitar\u00edan alg\u00fan veh\u00edculo lunar, por lo que ya hay varias compa\u00f1\u00edas desarrollando sus proyectos para buscar ser seleccionados. Uno de ellos es General Motors que a su vez colabora con Lockhead Martin para desarrollar estos veh\u00edculos.<\/p>\n<p>Recientemente se dio a conocer que desde General Motors han estado analizando a trav\u00e9s de computadoras el usar el paquete de bater\u00edas Ultium que vemos en veh\u00edculos como los Cadillac Lyriq, GMC Hummer EV, Chervrolet Blazer y dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Este paquete de bater\u00edas es algo m\u00e1s avanzado que uno tradicional de ion litio, pues para construirlos no es necesario a\u00f1adir tantos metales raros, tienen mejor gesti\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica y capacidades que en teor\u00eda pueden escalar f\u00e1cilmente. Por ello confirman que en breve har\u00e1n pruebas a temperaturas extremas para comprobar si es viable usar esta soluci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Acorde a Brent Deep, jefe de ingenier\u00eda parea el programa de movilidad lunar, las bater\u00edas y los veh\u00edculos en general deben soportar y operar en temperaturas que van de los 126\u00ba Celsius a los -173\u00ba Celsius, adem\u00e1s ser resistentes al abrasivo polvo lunar y a las condiciones accidentadas de la superficie.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente aclaran que el probar las bater\u00edas en estas condiciones y de ganar el contrato de la NASA, probarlas en la luna, podr\u00eda significar un gran avance para que en un futuro se puedan mejorar las bater\u00edas usadas por todos los productos de General Motors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La NASA hace tiempo anunci\u00f3 la intensi\u00f3n de regresar a la luna tanto con nuevos veh\u00edculos no tripulados, as\u00ed como con una misi\u00f3n tripulada.
