Pero a medida que crece la cantidad de plataformas, dispositivos y redes que ofrecen contenido, tambi\u00e9n lo hacen los problemas tecnol\u00f3gicos y econ\u00f3micos que enfrentan los reguladores\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Chadha.<\/p>\n<p>El prop\u00f3sito de esta investigaci\u00f3n es analizar este mercado digital para identificar cualquier tipo de problema de competencia y asegurarse de que \u201cfuncione bien para las personas y las empresas que conf\u00edan en ellos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Y es que estas tres empresas son de las m\u00e1s importantes y dominadoras en el terreno de la nube. De acuerdo con datos de Ofcom, este tr\u00edo genera cerca del 81% de los ingresos en el mercado de infraestructura de nube tan s\u00f3lo en Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<p>En el segundo trimestre de 2022, el gasto global en servicios de infraestructura en la nube aument\u00f3 a 55,000 millones de d\u00f3lares, lo que elev\u00f3 el total de la industria durante los \u00faltimos doce meses a m\u00e1s de 200,000 millones, seg\u00fan datos de Synergy Research Group.<\/p>\n<p>La misma firma destaca que AWS es el participante m\u00e1s dominador, pues su cuota de mercado en el mercado mundial de infraestructura en la nube ascendi\u00f3 al 34% en el segundo trimestre de 2022, superando la cuota combinada de Microsoft Azure y Google Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>En este contexto, empresas como Microsoft ya han sido acusadas de abusar de su posici\u00f3n dominante en el mercado de la nube, tanto en Estados Unidos como en Europa. En mayo pasado, una coalici\u00f3n de proveedores de cloud europeos acus\u00f3 a la empresa de dificultar la integraci\u00f3n de sus aplicaciones en favor de Azure.<\/p>\n<p>Debido a ello, la empresa se reuni\u00f3 con la Comisi\u00f3n Europea para ejecutar nuevos principios en torno a la competitividad en la nube. \u201cNos equivocamos. No est\u00e1bamos haciendo lo suficiente para proteger a las compa\u00f1\u00edas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as\u201d, dijo el presidente de Microsoft, Brad Smith.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, la Ofcom tambi\u00e9n planea investigar otros mercados digitales, como la mensajer\u00eda virtual y los asistentes digitales, en los cuales destacan compa\u00f1\u00edas como Amazon o Meta, las cuales
