Especialmente viene a la mente el Chevrolet Volt, s\u00ed con \u00abV\u00bb, que era un sed\u00e1n y no el Bolt en forma de MPV-SUV que conocemos ahora. O bien el nuevo Nissan Kicks e-Power. En su camino a la electrificaci\u00f3n Mazda ha decidido unirse a ese grupo de marcas y autos que combinan un poco de lo mejor de ambos mundos, d\u00e1ndonos como resultado al Mazda MX-30 e-Skyactibe R-EV, que como generador usa el m\u00edtico motor rotativo que tanto hizo famosa a la marca en el pasado.<\/p>\n<p>Mazda tomo el principio de F\u00e9lix Wankel, un ingeniero alem\u00e1n que con NSU intent\u00f3 dar vida a un nuevo tipo de motor a combusti\u00f3n, el motor rotativo o Wankel, que en vez de tener cilindros y pistones, se compondr\u00eda de una c\u00e1mara y un rotor en forma triangular que girar\u00eda sobre un eje y que se encasillar\u00eda en un bloque de forma ovalada que le permitiera llevar a cabo varios procesos de combusti\u00f3n de forma simultanea.<\/p>\n<p>Al paso del tiempo, Mazda compr\u00f3 las patentes de Wankel y mejor\u00f3 algunos detalles para darle vida a varios modelos de su historia como el legendario Cosmo, el m\u00edtico 787B que fue el \u00fanico auto con motor rotativo en ganar las 24 horas de Le Mans, los ic\u00f3nicos RX-7 y RX-8, por ejemplo.<\/p>\n<p>Sus ventajas radicaban en ser motores m\u00e1s ligeros, peque\u00f1os, que alcanzaban muchas m\u00e1s revoluciones y un buen nivel de poder. Desafortunadamente a\u00fan en nuestra era estos motores no eran perfectos, pues para lubricarse hab\u00eda que inyectar aceite directo a la c\u00e1mara de combusti\u00f3n, por lo que consum\u00edan mucho aceite, no eran tan eficientes, emit\u00edan m\u00e1s emisiones contaminantes que un motor com\u00fan y los sellos de grafito las aristas del rotor tend\u00edan a desgastarse r\u00e1pidamente creando pesadillas mec\u00e1nicas cuando hasta el m\u00e1s m\u00ednimo detalle de mantenimiento era ignorado.<\/p>\n<p>Por esa raz\u00f3n Mazda abandon\u00f3 su uso tras el RX-8, aunque nunca dejaron de lado la posibilidad de volverlo a emplear. Tras m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada de refinamiento y avances tecnol\u00f3gicos, la marca japonesa est\u00e1 lista para traerlo de regreso, no como el principal responsable del movimiento de un auto, pero s\u00ed como un generador para un bater\u00eda que alimentar\u00e1 al motor el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n<p>El MX-30 e-Skyactiv R-EV es un h\u00edbrido enchufable en serie, algo como un Kicks e-Power, pero que tambi\u00e9n puedes enchufar<\/p>\n<p>El principio de un auto h\u00edbrido en serie se ha visto fuertemente en M\u00e9xico con el reciente lanzamiento del Nissan Kicks e-Power, un veh\u00edculo que usa un motor a combusti\u00f3n solo para generar carga para una bater\u00eda peque\u00f1a, misma que dota de poder a un motor el\u00e9ctrico que es el encargado en un 100% de mover el auto.<\/p>\n<p>En un h\u00edbrido en paralelo, como un Toyota Prius, RAV 4 Hybrid, KIA Niro y compa\u00f1\u00eda, tanto el motor a combusti\u00f3n como el el\u00e9ctrico pueden impulsar al auto, aunque el motor a combusti\u00f3n har\u00e1 el 70% del trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso del MX-30 e-Skyactive R-EV tenemos a un h\u00edbrido enchufable en serie ya que adem\u00e1s de ser capaz de generar carga con su motor rotativo a combusti\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n tiene la capacidad de enchufarse a un cargador para llenar la bater\u00eda, cosa que el Kicks no puede hacer. Este Mazda puede pasar del 20% al 80% de carga en 25 minutos con un cargador de 36 KW. En un cargador para casa de 7.2 kW le tomar\u00e1 90 minutos llegar a ese mismo nivel.<\/p>\n<p>Por ahora ya est\u00e1 a la venta en Europa, donde en pa\u00edses como Espa\u00f1a tendr\u00e1 un valor desde los 38,050 euros, es decir, unos $778,000 pesos mexicanos en un ejercicio de conversi\u00f3n simple.
