De esta forma es su octava generaci\u00f3n la que estrena un conjunto h\u00edbrido con el que aumenta sus prestaciones y desempe\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Tracci\u00f3n total <\/p>\n<p>Gracias a que el Corvette E-Ray tiene un motor el\u00e9ctrico ofrece tracci\u00f3n en las cuatro ruedas, sistema denominado por Chevrolet como eAWD. En el eje delantero se aloja un generador que produce 160 caballos de potencia y 125 libras-pie, mismo que est\u00e1 alimentado por una bater\u00eda de 1.9 kWh. El motor de combusti\u00f3n mantiene el V8 LT2 de 6.2 litros con 495 hp y 479 libras-pie de par que canaliza la fuerza de tracci\u00f3n al eje trasero. C\u00f3mo ocurre en todo h\u00edbrido, las cifras de par y potencia no se suman; en este caso el Corvette E-Ray desarrolla 655 caballos de fuerza. Esta configuraci\u00f3n lo hace significativamente m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que el Corvette Stingray que prob\u00e9 hace unos meses.<\/p>\n<p>Es evidente tambi\u00e9n que as\u00ed como mejora su rendimiento ante el cron\u00f3metro tambi\u00e9n lo es que registra un mayor peso ante la b\u00e1scula debido principalmente a elementos como las bater\u00edas que se encuentran en el t\u00fanel entre los dos asientos. El Corvette E-Ray, en su configuraci\u00f3n coup\u00e9 marca un peso de 1,712 kilogramos contra los 1,530 kilogramos del Corvette Stingray tambi\u00e9n con carrocer\u00eda tipo coup\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor control<\/p>\n<p>La electr\u00f3nica y su monitoreo constante de la tracci\u00f3n en cada una de las ruedas permite que el sistema eAWD se adapte a las condiciones del camino as\u00ed como a los modos de manejo con los que cuenta: Tour, Sport, Track, Weather, My Mode y Z-Mode. A ellos se suma el Charge+ que prioriza el m\u00e1ximo nivel de carga de la bater\u00eda. Y aunque Chevrolet no especific\u00f3 cu\u00e1l es la autonom\u00eda en el modo de conducci\u00f3n totalmente el\u00e9ctrico llamado Stealth, solo adelant\u00f3 que puede conducirse en esta modalidad hasta una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 72.4 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora el E-Ray se ostenta como el m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido en la historia del \u201cVette\u201d ya que logra una aceleraci\u00f3n de 0 a 60 mph en 2.5 segundos contra los 2.9 segundos que le lleva al Corvette Stingray. Adem\u00e1s para el cuarto de milla solo invierte 10.5 segundos. Este modelo no requiere conectarse a una red el\u00e9ctrica, pues el sistema regenerativo de los frenos y de la inercia alimentan a las bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Falta menos<\/p>\n<p>Como el resto de sus hermanos se producir\u00e1 en la planta de Bowling Green, en Kentucky, y la marca se\u00f1al\u00f3 que llegar\u00e1 al mercado estadounidense este mismo a\u00f1o con un precio que arranca en $104,295 d\u00f3lares para la carrocer\u00eda coup\u00e9 1LZ y $111,295 d\u00f3lares para el convertible 1L.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A pesar de su aumento de peso, es m\u00e1s potente y r\u00e1pido que el Stingray.
