Hoy, con una historia de \u00e9xito en sus operaciones en M\u00e9xico, OnStar cumple 10 a\u00f1os como l\u00edder de conectividad y seguridad.<\/p>\n<p>En entrevista para El Economista, Alfonso Monreal, responsable de Relaciones P\u00fablicas y Gubernamentales de OnStar M\u00e9xico, record\u00f3 el inici\u00f3 de este servicio: \u201cOnStar naci\u00f3 hace 27 a\u00f1os en Estados Unidos con el objetivo de encontrar mejores f\u00f3rmulas utilizando la tecnolog\u00eda de nuestros veh\u00edculos y poder ayudar a la gente en momentos cr\u00edticos. De ah\u00ed nace el tema de -\u00bfEst\u00e1s en un accidente?, \u00bfC\u00f3mo te ayudo?- Lo que hicimos fue ponerle un sistema de telecomunicaciones al veh\u00edculo para que, adem\u00e1s de que te pudiera mandar asistencia en el camino, el mismo coche nos avisara del accidente y hubiera un asesor en vivo que te auxiliara. As\u00ed naci\u00f3 OnStar, buscando de qu\u00e9 manera ayudar m\u00e1s a nuestros clientes. Dentro del crecimiento de OnStar se visualiza expandirlo fuera de Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1, y el primer pa\u00eds fue China y el segundo fue M\u00e9xico c\u00f3mo una extensi\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n de Norteam\u00e9rica. Esta tecnolog\u00eda fue creciendo hasta hoy que tenemos una plataforma tecnol\u00f3gica con HotSpot de WiFi, con todos los temas de tecnolog\u00eda, aplicaciones, todo el sistema de telem\u00e1tica del veh\u00edculo, y eso se suma con los temas de emergencia que se ven\u00edan manejando. Despu\u00e9s vino la asistencia de veh\u00edculo robado. Pero los pilares m\u00e1s fuertes son el tema de conectividad y el de la seguridad en emergencias. Esta fue la idea de ir creciendo porque hoy estamos en m\u00e1s de 40 pa\u00edses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De esta forma alcanz\u00f3 250 mil usuarios en 10 a\u00f1os en los que ha atendido 41 mil casos de emergencia, est\u00e1 presente en 25 l\u00edneas de producto de Chevrolet, Buick, GMC y Cadillac, que equivale al 80% de la oferta de GM. Adem\u00e1s los usuarios consumieron 2,700 TB e invirtieron m\u00e1s de 2.7 millones de horas en la interacci\u00f3n en redes sociales. De igual forma el uso de internet creci\u00f3 70% de enero a agosto de este a\u00f1o comparado al mismo periodo de 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los clientes de alguna de
