La compa\u00f1\u00eda nipona sigue investigando y abriendo camino en este sentido, y acaba de anunciar que tiene listo un motor de combusti\u00f3n interna con una eficiencia t\u00e9rmica del 50 por ciento que emplear\u00e1 en sus coches h\u00edbridos e-Power.<\/p>\n<p>De una manera u otra, todos los fabricantes de coches est\u00e1n acogiendo la electrificaci\u00f3n en su cartera de productos, y es interesante observar los diferentes enfoques que tiene cada uno y las tecnolog\u00edas por las que apuesta. En el caso de Nissan, las mec\u00e1nicas h\u00edbridas e-Power formar\u00e1n parte de sus pr\u00f3ximos modelos, incluido el nuevo Nissan Qashqai de tercera generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Precisamente esa tecnolog\u00eda e-Power ser\u00e1 donde se emplee este nuevo motor, el cual puede alcanzar un 50 % de eficiencia t\u00e9rmica, seg\u00fan ha anunciado Nissan. Para ponerlo en contexto, el motor t\u00e9rmico del Toyota Prius alcanza un 40 % de eficiencia, una cifra ya de por s\u00ed elevada para un motor t\u00e9rmico. La cifra es id\u00e9ntica en el motor t\u00e9rmico del Hyundai Ioniq o el Kia Niro h\u00edbridos.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Nissan, en las pruebas llevadas a cabo durante su desarrollo, el motor alcanz\u00f3 un 46 % de eficiencia t\u00e9rmica, mientras que el 4 % restante se ha obtenido utilizando \u00abtecnolog\u00edas de recuperaci\u00f3n de calor residual\u00bb que no han sido especificadas en detalle. Para alcanzar ese cincuenta por ciento de eficiencia, y simplificando los detalles t\u00e9cnicos, el motor de Nissan utiliza una mezcla pobre con una mayor relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n, forzando m\u00e1s combustible y aire en el cilindro, y quemando la mezcla con una chispa m\u00e1s potente.<\/p>\n<p>Nissan ha llevado a cabo un exhaustivo estudio de la c\u00e1mara de combusti\u00f3n y del comportamiento de la mezcla y su combusti\u00f3n para, por ejemplo, reducir turbulencias en el cilindro que afectan a la eficiencia del proceso. Con todo, y seg\u00fan datos del fabricante, se consigue reducir el consumo de combustible en un 25 %<\/p>\n<p>Este nuevo motor forma parte del sistema h\u00edbrido e-Power, pero no mover\u00e1 las ruedas del coche, sino que se utilizar\u00e1 \u00fanicamente para recargar la bater\u00eda que alimenta el motor el\u00e9ctrico que mueve las ruedas. El motor de combusti\u00f3n interna act\u00faa como generador de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica; al no depender de los cambios de r\u00e9gimen al acelerar o frenar durante la conducci\u00f3n, siempre puede funcionar en su r\u00e9gimen \u00f3ptimo de eficiencia t\u00e9rmica.<\/p>\n<p>Nissan dice que este motor todav\u00eda no est\u00e1 listo para su producci\u00f3n en serie pero que llegar\u00e1 pronto, \u00aben pocos a\u00f1os\u00bb. En 2017 la escuder\u00eda Mercedes-AMG de F\u00f3rmula 1 anunci\u00f3 que el motor t\u00e9rmico de su monoplaza alcanzaba una eficiencia del 50 %, una cifra que parec\u00eda imposible de alcanzar en un coche de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan ha anunciado que ha conseguido desarrollar un motor de combusti\u00f3n interna con un 50 % de eficiencia t\u00e9rmica.
